MM Contemporary Arts LTD has been called in to handle the sale of Banksy’s Mobile Lovers. Currently housed in the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, the work has drawn tremendous crowds. The work has now been bought by a private collector through MM Contemporary Arts LTD, who won the pitch for the sale over Bonhams, Sotheby’s, Julien’s Auctions and other private dealers.
All the proceeds with go to benefit Broad Plain, the club at which the work was created, and affiliate Bristol youth clubs.
The official handover of Mobile Lovers takes place on Wednesday 27th August at the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery at 3.30pm – 4pm with Mary McCarthy (MM Contemporary) George Ferguson (Mayor of Bristol) and Dennish Stinchcombe (Broad Plain Boys Club).
